About the Founder
Lindsay Pascoe is an RN with over 12 years experience caring for infants and new mothers across the country. After graduating from nursing school, Lindsay was looking for a way she could use her skills to help families after they brought their babies home from the hospital. Baby nursing turned out to be a perfect fit, and Lindsay loves helping families transition into life at home with their new additions. In addition to working privately with families, Lindsay has worked as a NICU nurse in a level III unit. Her experience caring for premature and sick babies has been invaluable in helping her meet the unique needs of families with a special needs infant. Lindsay also spent 2 years working with the Nurse Family Partnership, a home visiting program serving first time mothers and infants in the community. Here she developed a true sensitivity to the needs of the young mother and gained extensive knowledge of how to support them through pregnancy and early parenthood.
Lavender was born from her desire to create a comprehensive baby nurse program that would focus on the holistic care of newborns, while at the same time educating and empowering new parents. Lindsay believes that the first 12 weeks of an infant’s life are incredibly formative, and that supporting families as a whole during this time has a lasting impact. Lavender is unique, in that it offers baby nurse coverage plus expert, week by week guidance on how to give your infant the best possible start in life.
